Job Description
As a Security Officer Full Time X Ray Screening in Ellenwood, GA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a logistics and distribution location, you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, and maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents. You will support access control, observe and report activity, and provide outstanding customer service and communication. What You'll Do:
  • Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols of loading areas, parking areas, trailer yards, access points, and the business perimeter to help identify unusual activity and support site operations.
  • Monitor access to the facility by verifying authorized personnel, visitors, and delivery drivers in accordance with site requirements.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns according to established procedures.
  • Document patrols, incidents, and other security-related observations through accurate reports and required shift records.

Minimum Requirements:
  • Possess at least one year of armed security-related, law enforcement, or military experience.
  • Loss prevention experience is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Be comfortable using a computer or tablet, preferred.
  • X-ray screening experience is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
