What You'll Do
Relief at Source Operations
- Review client eligibility and documentation for reduced withholding tax treatment
- Prepare, validate, and track market-specific tax forms and supporting documentation
- Monitor income events, filing deadlines, and custodian requirements
- Support collection and maintenance of onboarding documentation
- Respond to time-sensitive tax documentation requests
- Resolve documentation issues with clients, custodians, and internal stakeholders
Tax Reclaim Operations
- Review and validate tax reclaim eligibility
- Prepare and submit reclaim packages within regulatory deadlines
- Obtain certificates of residency and supporting tax documents
- Track claims through filing, payment, rejection, resubmission, and closure
- Research and resolve reclaim exceptions and rejected claims
- Coordinate with custodians, tax authorities, and clients to resolve payment and documentation issues
Preferred Qualifications
- Knowledge of:
- American Depositary Receipts (ADRs)
- Ordinary Securities
- Double Taxation Treaties
- Withholding Tax Processing
- Global Custody Operations
- Experience working directly with custodians, tax authorities, or international tax servicing teams
