Veterinary Technician
Sign-on Bonus offered to experienced certified veterinary technician!

We are a very busy multi-doctor AAHA general practice in the Northern Liberties neighborhood on Philadelphia. We have a close, hardworking group of dedicated team members and we are looking for someone with experience to join us! We need someone with extensive technical abilities to be a main support for our doctors.

Required technical abilities include:

  • Veni-puncture
  • IV catheter placement
  • Anesthetic monitoring, anesthetic induction/intubation, canine and feline dentistry, including proficiency with digital dental radiographs, drug calculations
  • Administration of medication via injection and by mouth
  • Radiology
  • Knowledge and comfortability communicating about animal husbandry, care, procedures, and doctor recommendations to educate clients
  • Good communication skills within the team and with clients
  • Ability to triage
  • A team member who has the ability to adapt to different DVM personalities and preferences.
  • Licensed CVT a plus
