They oversee financial reporting, budgeting, compliance with grant and regulatory requirements, and internal controls to ensure the organization's financial health. In addition to supervising accounting staff, they collaborate with executive leadership to support strategic planning and provide financial insights. Their work is crucial for maintaining transparency, accountability, and legal compliance in the nonprofit sector.

How does a full time nonprofit controller typically collaborate with program managers and executive leadership within an organization?

A Full Time Nonprofit Controller works closely with program managers and executive leadership to ensure financial resources are effectively allocated and in compliance with grant requirements and organizational goals. This collaboration often includes preparing budget reports, analyzing spending trends, and providing financial guidance during strategic planning sessions. • Contribute to a collaborative, mission-first team culture
  • Take on special projects and other duties as assigned
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required
