NeuroRestorative , a part of the Sevita family, provides rehabilitation services for people of all ages with brain, spinal cord and medically complex injuries, illnesses, and other challenges. In a variety of locations and community-based settings, we offer a range of programs, including vocational and therapy programs, day treatments, and specialized services for infants, children, adolescents, Military Service Members, and Veterans.

We value dedication and commitment, and we reward it. Full-time caregivers are eligible for a $2,000 retention bonus , paid out during your first year of employment as you reach key milestones:

  • $100 – After successfully completing orientation and on-site training
  • $300 – At 3 months of employment
  • $400 – At 6 months
  • $500 – At 9 months
  • $700 – At 12 months

  • Attend orientation and ongoing training that helps you grow and succeed
  • Stay connected and involved through monthly staff meetings
  • Show up for your scheduled shifts and support your teammates

Make a Difference Through Direct Support

You’ll get to support individuals in living their best lives by helping with:

  • Daily activities  — socializing, personal care, housekeeping, and recreation
  • Life skills  — money management, community outings, shopping, and citizenship
  • Fun activities  — playing games, cooking meals, practicing hobbies, and exploring the community
  • Documentation  — keeping accurate notes and tracking progress
  • Building relationships  — connecting with individuals, families, guardians, and team members
  • Protecting rights  — advocating for independence, choice, dignity, and confidentiality
  • Reporting concerns  — keeping everyone safe by following agency and state standards


Support Health & Wellness

You may also:

  • Go with individuals to medical appointments
  • Assist with medication administration (if assigned and trained)
  • Monitor health changes and communicate with nurses or supervisors
  • Use medical supplies/equipment appropriately and safely
  • Prepare meals, support special diets, and encourage healthy eating


Help Create a Safe, Comfortable Home

  • Drive individuals safely in the community
  • Keep the home clean, organized, and welcoming
  • Report safety issues or maintenance needs
  • Assist with small household tasks like changing light bulbs or yard upkeep
  • Participate in safety drills and emergency procedures


What You Need to Bring

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • At least 18 years old
  • Preferably 6 months of experience in human services (but we’ll train the right person!)
  • A valid ID


Physical Requirements

This is an active role! You should be comfortable:

  • Assisting with mobility
  • Lifting or moving up to 50 lbs regularly
