Job description

We are looking for a rigorous, analytical analyst who can turn operational data into strategic insights to support decision-making and continuous improvement.
Within the finance team, you will play an essential role in cost analysis, understanding performance variances, and optimizing our manufacturing processes. You will work closely with the production, procurement, and finance
teams to ensure the reliability of financial information.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Prepare, calculate, and maintain the cost of the products
- Analyze variances between actual, standard, and budgeted costs to identify improvement opportunities
- Monitor margins and explain profitability variances.
- Participate in month-end closing activities, reconciliations, and inventory control
- Support the preparation of budgets and financial forecasts
- Collaborate with operations to improve data quality and process efficiency
- Develop analysis and tracking tools that support a better understanding of costs.
- Participate in the continuous improvement of systems and working methods.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or administration
- CPA designation or in progress (an asset)
- 2 to 5 years of experience in cost accounting, management accounting, or financial analysis
- Bilingual English/French
- Excellent command of Excel.
- Knowledge of standard costs, inventory valuation methods, and financial controls.
- Strong analytical skills, rigor, and attention to detail
- Autonomy, collaboration, and ability to thrive in a growing manufacturing environment
