Summary
An Augeo .NET Developer will be responsible for developing, testing, and implementing software solutions to support new and existing functionality within the Augeo ecosystem. This developer will play a key role in analysis, design, development, testing, and implementation of Augeo applications. This individual will be expected to multitask, working on multiple projects, including RESTful API development and full-stack development utilizing .NET C# MVC. You'll have an opportunity to work with both LTS versions of .NET Framework as well as .NET Core. You'll also be expected to actively leverage AI coding assistants and agentic AI tools as part of your daily workflow, using them to accelerate development, improve code quality, and identify opportunities to automate repetitive tasks across the .NET and SQL Server development lifecycle.

High-level Job Requirements
  • Working from programming requirement specifications, design, develop, and test the required software programs
  • Implement RESTful web services within .NET
  • Analyze the performance of programs and act to correct deficiencies based on team brainstorming sessions and with the support and approval of your supervisor
  • Document programming problems and resolutions for future reference (lessons learned)
  • Leverage AI coding assistants (e.g., GitHub Copilot, Cursor, Claude Code) as a daily part of the development workflow to accelerate coding, testing, and debugging
  • Identify and implement opportunities to automate repetitive development workflows using AI agents and agentic AI tooling
  • Use AI-assisted tools to support code reviews, automated testing, and documentation generation
  • Participate in an on-call rotation, responding to automated error alerts and ensuring timely investigation and resolution of production issues during and after business hours.

  • Experience with a version control system (Bitbucket, Git, etc.)
  • Experience with a relational database system (i.e., SQL Server, MySQL, etc.)
  • Experience with or willingness to learn AI coding assistants (GitHub Copilot, Cursor, Claude Code, or similar tools)
  • Familiarity with LLM APIs (OpenAI, Anthropic Claude, AWS Bedrock) and AI agent development concepts is a plus

Education and Experience
  • Two-year or four-year college degree from a regionally accredited college or university preferred (or 10+ years of relevant development experience)
  • 3+ years in a software development/engineering role
  • Experience working with modern automation - containerization (Docker, Kubernetes, ECS, etc), configuration-as-code, microservices, etc.
  • Build and deploy automation using tools like Jenkins, etc.
  • Exposure to modern agile software development practices such as code reviews, pull requests, scrum ceremonies, etc.

Location
Candidates local to an Augeo office are expected to work a hybrid schedule. Candidates outside commuting distance of an Augeo office may work remotely.
