Job description

Klai Juba Wald Architecture + Interiors is seeking a Senior Manager of Interiors to oversee the design, execution, and delivery of complex hospitality projects. This senior leadership role is responsible for guiding multidisciplinary teams, fostering client relationships, and ensuring design excellence. The ideal candidate brings extensive hospitality experience, exceptional leadership skills, and a deep understanding of project delivery from concept through construction. Experience in gaming and casino environments is required. This is for an in-person, full-time role at our office in Las Vegas, Nevada.

Responsibilities
  • Lead the design and execution of largescale hospitality interior design projects from programming through construction administration.
  • Provide strategic leadership to project teams, ensuring design quality, technical excellence, and successful project delivery.
  • Build and maintain trusted relationships with clients, owners, operators, consultants, contractor partners, and employees.
  • Oversee project staffing, schedules, budgets, and resource planning.
  • Ensure projects meet operational objectives, brand standards, and guest experience goals.
  • Coordinate seamlessly with architecture, branding, procurement, and specialty consultants.
  • Qualifications
  • NCIDQ certification.
  • 10+ years of professional interior design experience with a primary focus on hospitality projects.
  • Bachelor's degree in Interior Design or related field.
  • Strong portfolio demonstrating completed hospitality projects from concept through construction.
  • Proven experience leading multidisciplinary teams and managing multiple complex projects simultaneously.
  • Excellent client management, communication, and presentation skills.
  • Advanced knowledge of hospitality planning, detailing, FF&E coordination, and project delivery.
  • Proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD, Adobe Creative Suite, and Microsoft Office.
  • Strong understanding of building codes, accessibility requirements, and construction documentation.
  • Ability to mentor teams and foster a collaborative, highperforming studio environment.
  • Willingness to travel as required.
  • Preferred Qualifications
  • Luxury hotel or resort design experience.
  • Experience working with internationally recognized hospitality brands.
  • Proven business development and client relationship management experience.
  • Experience leading largescale, multimilliondollar hospitality developments.
