  • Assist in specimen collection and the preparation of samples for testing as required.
  • Thoroughly document all procedures, with the responsibility of training new staff and students while maintaining laboratory quality standards.
  • Uphold a clean, safe, and compliant laboratory environment following all regulatory and accreditation guidelines.
Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Clinical or Medical Laboratory Science or an equivalent allied health degree, with preparations for ASCP/AMT certification.
Certifications
  • ASCP or AMT Board Certification in Clinical Laboratory Science (CLS) to be obtained within the first year of employment.
  • Maintain current certification as a condition of continued employment.
