Responsibilities

The Department of Neurology at Mayo Clinic in Scottsdale and Phoenix, Arizona, is seeking an academic specialist to join our Division of Multiple Sclerosis and Autoimmune Neurology.  The department includes nearly 50 board-certified neurologists and advanced practice providers who offer highly skilled, state-of-the art neurological care for patients with serious and complex neurological disorders.  This position offers a rich clinical environment and opportunities to engage in clinical and translational research and educational programs with Mayo Clinic colleagues in Arizona and across the Mayo Clinic enterprise.


Qualifications

Candidates must have an M.D. or equivalent, be board-certified/board-eligible in Neurology by the ABPN, and be fellowship trained in Multiple Sclerosis, Autoimmune Neurology, Clinical Neuroimmunology, or equivalent.

Candidates must possess excellent clinical expertise and evidence of either a promising early-career trajectory or a demonstrable track record of academic success in research and education.  Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work collaboratively with other disciplines and neurological sub-specialties are required.  We welcome applications from qualified individuals at any career stage; the successful candidate is eligible for appointment to the faculty of the Mayo Clinic College of Medicine and Science.
