Description
The Multimedia Designer specialist requires a diverse skill set to produce high definition photorealistic and photo-accurate media to be used in simulation and/or emulation scenarios. Supports analysis and development of ISD deliverables using the instructional system design (ISD) process. Assists with Proposal efforts. Completes all work within the constraints of a time sensitive schedule and budget.
  • Work with Subject Matter Experts, Instructional System Designer Specialists, and Web Developers to produce training materials for Computer Aided Training (CAIs) and Classroom Led Instruction (IBTs).
  • Builds high definition 2D graphics and supports interactive 2D and 3D media assets.
  • Creates/edits Videos and audio using various software applications.
  • Creates CD/DVDs of photo or media as required
  • Research audio video equipment and software applications and provide recommendations to manager.
  • Researches and selects the appropriate tools to be used on a particular project based on the project's requirements and availability of resources.
  • Conducts internal quality checks (IQCs) on all courseware deliverables to meet established department standards
  • Researches and recommends solutions by comparing the advantages and disadvantages of custom development and purchased commercial off the shelf products.
  • Creates templates and documentation that can be used by other designers and developers to rapidly create additional interactive training scenarios as required.
  • Ensures projects stay within estimated schedule and budget requirements.

Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree from an accredited school/college in Art, Graphic Art, Design, Illustration, or related field
  • Experience in digital photo editing/manipulation
  • Experience in video editing/manipulation.
  • Experience with 2D animation
  • Fluent in Adobe Creative Cloud (Photoshop, illustrator, Premier Pro, etc.)
  • Have a thorough understanding of design and development principles and how to integrate them into existing processes.
  • United States Top Secret Security Clearance.
