Whether you're just starting your career, an experienced technician, or a shop mechanic looking for a new challenge, this is an excellent opportunity to build a long-term career with a company that has experienced steady growth for more than 20 years.

Why Join Heritage Truck Equipment?

At Heritage Truck Equipment, we believe our employees are our greatest asset. We provide the training and support you need to succeed while offering outstanding benefits, competitive pay, and opportunities for career advancement.

What We're Looking For

  • Willingness to learn our products and systems
  • Self-motivated with a strong work ethic
  • Ability to work independently and take initiative
  • Clean driving record
  • Basic understanding of 12-volt electrical systems, hydraulic systems, and power take-offs (PTOs)
  • Welding and fabrication experience is a plus, but not required-we provide on-the-job training

What We Offer

  • Full-time position with weekly pay.
  • Optional employer-sponsored tool program
  • 100% employer-paid health care premium, high-quality health insurance
  • Optional low-cost dental and vision insurance
  • 401(k) with up to a 3.5% company match and Roth investment options
  • Paid Time Off (PTO) and paid holidays
  • In-house welding training
  • Paid training program with a completion bonus
  • Opportunities for advancement within a growing company

Responsibilities

  • Diagnose and repair mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical issues on heavy- and medium-duty dump trucks and roll-off equipment.
  • Travel throughout an approximate two-hour service area to perform on-site repairs.
  • Communicate directly with customers and dealerships to coordinate service appointments and repairs.
  • Participate in hands-on training at Heritage Truck Equipment's headquarters in Hartville, Ohio, where you'll learn every stage of our truck-building process-from flat steel to a completed truck body.
  • Operate a new one-ton fully equipped service truck featuring secure tool storage, onboard air, specialty tools, and an engine-driven welder/generator.

The Ideal Candidate

We're looking for someone with a positive attitude, excellent communication skills, and a commitment to providing outstanding customer service. The ideal candidate enjoys solving problems, takes pride in their work, and thrives in a fast-paced environment where no two days are the same.
