As a PTA, you will work under the direct supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist, providing essential support in executing and monitoring patient therapy plans. Key Responsibilities

As a Physical Therapist Assistant at Vital Body Wellness, your responsibilities will include:

  • Assisting your supervising therapist in gathering data for patient evaluations, including performing any necessary tests and assessments, while clearly communicating any relevant status updates.
  • Implementing tailored therapy plans by performing procedures and techniques as designated by the supervising PT, while actively engaging patients and ensuring their comfort during sessions.
  • Progressing patients through their therapy regimens by modifying treatment strategies in response to their evolving physical and functional capabilities as guided by their treatment plan.
  • Actively monitoring patient progress and promptly reporting any significant changes in their physical or emotional status to the supervising therapist, ensuring adherence to best care practices.
  • Coordinating therapy sessions with other individuals involved in the care process, such as additional clinical staff and community resources, to provide a comprehensive approach to treatment.
  • Participating in team meetings and clinical discussions to actively contribute insights regarding therapy protocols and patient care plans.
Patient Population / Client Focus

Your primary focus will be on orthopedic patients recovering from surgery, injuries, or chronic conditions. You will engage with a diverse group of individuals, including post-operative patients, athletes working toward enhanced mobility, and elderly clients requiring specialized rehabilitative care. Qualifications

To be considered for this role, candidates must have:

  • A Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field.
  • A valid Nevada Physical Therapy Assistant License at the time of hire.
  • Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association, or an obligation to obtain one within the first 30 days of employment.
  • Proven experience in physical therapy treatment modalities and interventions.
