Mind and Body Wellness Physical Therapy in Boston, Massachusetts is seeking an experienced and dedicated Physical Therapist to join our reputable orthopedic outpatient practice. This full-time position involves providing personalized care to patients recovering from musculoskeletal issues, with a strong emphasis on enhancing their movement capabilities and overall quality of life.

At Mind and Body Wellness Physical Therapy, we pride ourselves on being a PT-owned practice focused on delivering exceptional outpatient care. Our facility is equipped with advanced resources and encompasses a spacious 5,000 square feet sports medicine rehabilitation center. We primarily cater to patients covered by private medical insurance, ensuring a tailored and comprehensive approach to rehabilitation. Our team consists of knowledgeable professionals, including two skilled physical therapists and a physical therapist assistant, dedicated to fostering a supportive and collaborative working environment.

Work Environment

This full-time role is based onsite within our rehabilitation facility in Boston. The standard work schedule is Monday through Friday from 9 am to 5 pm, promoting a balanced work-life dynamic. Our facility is designed to support patient recovery through modern therapy equipment and an engaging atmosphere that promotes healing and collaboration among the staff and patients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Effectively assess and identify patients' objectives, needs, and progress throughout their recovery journeys.
  • Manage a caseload of one patient at a time each hour, allowing for personalized attention and customized treatment plans.
  • Administer comprehensive assessments to create thorough care plans that align with each patient's rehabilitation goals.
  • Employ a variety of treatment techniques to improve patients' mobility, including hands-on manual therapy and strength training exercises.
  • Promote non-surgical treatment options and reduce reliance on medications through innovative physical therapy interventions.
  • Design individualized fitness and wellness programs tailored to meet unique patient needs and abilities.
  • Utilize evidence-based practices to ensure the highest quality of patient care.
  • Motivate and guide patients through their rehabilitation processes, fostering a sense of empowerment and commitment to their health.
  • Encourage healthy lifestyle choices by improving strength, flexibility, balance, and coordination in a supportive environment.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Qualifications
  • Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited program.
  • Valid license to practice as a Physical Therapist in Massachusetts.

  • Experience with WebPT or similar electronic medical record (EMR) systems.

Compensation and Benefits
