Position Summary / Career Interest:
Must be located in the Great Bend, KS area.
The Strategic Marketing Coordinator is responsible for assisting with the planning, coordinating development and fulfilling execution of consumer, patient and physician marketing plans and initiatives within assigned strategic areas. They are also responsible for assisting with the relationships and efforts with key stakeholders internally and externally.
The Strategic Marketing Coordinator will meet with key marketing managers and departments/service lines assigned to develop and execute marketing tactics to meet strategic goals and objectives. At times, they will also meet directly with key stakeholder, service line leaders and staff to facilitate project process and progress. Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities, projects and responsibilities. Must also be able to carry out strategic plans, after development, for assigned areas and develop effective tactics.
Position will be responsible for developing and executing tactics to support strategic areas of growth with regards: consumer, patient and physician marketing, direct and mass marketing efforts, as well as all online and offline initiatives.
The Strategic Marketing Coordinator must be organized and personable, possess analytical thinking skills, have excellent listening and strong communication skills, exceptional judgment and strong initiative, experience in demonstrating collaboration across diverse groups, and facilitate execution of tactics.
Responsibilities and Essential Job Functions
  • Support and coordinate marketing efforts for specific hospital priority areas or services lines as assigned
  • Facilitates and communicates with key hospital, service line and external stakeholders to progress marketing efforts and initiatives
  • Helps develops and execute tactics identified in the marketing communication plans for assigned areas of focus.
  • Works with focus areas to ensure all marketing tactics are developed accurately and timely
  • Plans and coordinates projects and special initiatives as assigned to ensure efforts are strategically focused, outcomes driven and executed according to time lines set.
  • Serves all internal and external customers by providing high quality care/service with courtesy and compassion.
  • Demonstrates accountability for own actions and decisions.
  • Follows policies, procedures, and standards; complies with Corporate Responsibility Program.
  • Assumes responsibility for risk and safety issues associated with position.
  • Participates in performance improvement activities.
  • Takes responsibility for own learning and development needs.
  • Participates as a member of a team to achieve organizational goals.
  • Brings ideas/concerns to supervisor; participates in decision-making as requested.
  • Must be able to perform the professional, clinical and or technical competencies of the assigned unit or department.

Required Education and Experience
  • Bachelors Degree in Marketing or related field from an accredited College or University.
  • High School Graduate
  • 3 or more years of marketing experience
  • Experience with development and execution of online and offline marketing tactics.

Preferred Education and Experience
  • Hospital marketing experience.
  • Marketing plan development and execution experience.

Knowledge Requirements
  • Exceptional skills in Microsoft word, Excel, PowerPoint
  • Exceptional project and time management skills
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Access and/or similar database programs
