What You'll Do

POSITION SUMMARY

The Revenue Audit Supervisor, under the supervision of the Controller is responsible for conducting and supervising the daily audit process of gaming and non-gaming revenue, ensuring the accuracy of reported revenues.Responsible for timely review, examination, and verification of the daily records and reports related to income and revenue of STRC, for both gaming and non-gaming operations

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES / DUTIES

  • Promote and support a culture of excellence at Spokane Tribe Resort & Casino by modeling STRC values, delivering exceptional guest service, and upholding the highest standards of professionalism and ethics.
  • Provide exceptional guest service throughout all interactions.
  • Oversee daily Revenue Audit operations to ensure compliance with internal controls, regulatory requirements, and departmental standards.
  • Develop and maintain revenue audit checklists, procedures, and documentation standards to ensure accurate revenue verification and reporting.
  • Review and validate completion of daily revenue audits, including slot meter reads, fill and credit slips, jackpots, chip inventories, cage accountability, soft count reports, credit card receipts, complimentary activity, and related documentation.
  • Prepare and distribute flash reports, daily operating reports, and other assigned audit and financial reports promptly.
  • Maintain required revenue audit logs and records (daily, weekly, monthly, and annually) in accordance with internal controls and record retention requirements.
  • Document and escalate audit exceptions, discrepancies, and deviations from internal controls, and issue incident reports as appropriate.
  • Analyze audit results to identify risks, trends, and potential threats, and recommend corrective actions or process improvements.
  • Coordinate with applicable business partners and departments on audits, regulatory inquiries, and compliance matters.
  • Conduct special audits and investigative reviews involving complex or sensitive matters as directed.
  • Provide analytical support and recommendations to management regarding revenue integrity, accounting processes, and regulatory compliance.
  • Monitor changes in federal, state, tribal, and regulatory requirements and ensure departmental compliance.
  • Communicate department performance, risks, and operational challenges to the Controller and recommend solutions to improve efficiency and accuracy.
  • Participate in meetings, audits, and training sessions and complete assigned follow-up actions.
  • Demonstrate dependability and reliability by maintaining regular, punctual attendance and consistently fulfilling assigned shifts and responsibilities.
  • Create, maintain, and facilitate a positive and safe work environment; promote healthy team member relations and report concerns to appropriate personnel.

    POSITION QUALIFICATIONS

    Education & Experience

    • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. A combination of experience and education may be considered in lieu of a degree requirement.
    • Three (3) years of related work experience in a casino environment. One (1) year of experience in a supervisory or lead capacity.
    • Demonstrated knowledge of BSA, AML, and Patriot Act as well as CTR, SAR reporting.
    • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite; advanced Excel skills and knowledge.
    • Unquestionable integrity and work ethics.
    • Willing and available to work varied schedules, including nights, weekends, holidays, and special events
