Job description

Full-Time Medical Receptionist / Patient Liaison

A busy dermatology practice is seeking a friendly, professional, and highly organized Medical Receptionist/Patient Liaison to join our team. The ideal candidate is personable, detail-oriented, and committed to providing an exceptional patient experience from the moment patients contact our office through the completion of their visit.

We are looking for a team player who is self-motivated, dependable, and experienced in a medical office, healthcare, or customer service-focused environment.

Schedule

Full-Time Monday–Thursday, 9:00 AM–6:00 PM

Responsibilities

Answer and manage incoming phone calls professionally and efficiently

Welcome patients and ensure a positive office experience

Schedule, confirm, and coordinate patient appointments

Communicate clearly and effectively with patients both in person and by phone

Review procedures, discuss fees, and answer patient questions

Verify insurance information and update patient records

Process payments and maintain accurate documentation

Manage electronic medical records (EMR)

Maintain a clean, organized, and professional reception and waiting area

Assist with administrative and office support tasks as needed

Coordinate patient flow to help providers stay on schedule

Demonstrate understanding of medical terminology and dermatologic procedures

Qualifications

Education & Experience

Background in healthcare, medical studies, or a related field preferred

Previous medical reception, front desk, or patient service experience required

Experience working directly with patients or the public in a customer service, medical, or aesthetic/spa setting

Experience with EMR software required

Billing experience is a plus

Formal customer service training is preferred

Dermatology experience is a plus

Experience with ModMed EMA is preferred

Compensation & Benefits

Pay: Starting at $18.00 per hour (commensurate with experience)
