Responsibilities

Provide the full scope of Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery, including:

  • Diagnosis and treatment of conditions affecting the mouth, jaws, face, and neck

  • Routine and surgical tooth extractions, including impacted third molars

  • Dental implant placement

  • Full-arch implant rehabilitation (All-on-X)

  • Implant-supported prosthetic procedures

  • Bone grafting and sinus augmentation

  • Oral pathology and biopsy procedures

  • Management of oral infections

  • Facial trauma treatment, as applicable

Additional responsibilities include:

  • Administer IV sedation and anesthesia in compliance with state and federal regulations

  • Develop comprehensive treatment plans and educate patients on treatment options, risks, and post-operative care

  • Collaborate closely with referring dentists, orthodontists, physicians, and other healthcare providers

  • Maintain accurate, timely clinical documentation

  • Uphold the highest standards of patient safety, ethics, and professionalism

Qualifications

  • DDS or DMD from an accredited dental school

  • Completion of an accredited Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery residency

  • Board Certified or Board Eligible in Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery

  • Active Texas dental license (or ability to obtain)

  • Current DEA registration

  • Texas anesthesia permit (or ability to obtain)

  • Strong clinical experience with dental implants and advanced surgical procedures

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

  • Commitment to clinical excellence, teamwork, and patient-centered care
