Pay Rate: Up to $40.00 per hour
Available Schedules
Middle School
- Monday–Friday
- 7:10 AM – 2:45 PM
High School
- Monday–Friday
- 7:50 AM – 3:25 PM
Position Overview
The School Teacher implements daily instructional plans in an effective and engaging manner while maintaining a classroom environment that promotes learning, personal growth, and academic success. The School Teacher establishes positive relationships with students, maintains effective classroom management, and collaborates with administrators and fellow educators to support student achievement.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver engaging mathematics instruction aligned with curriculum standards
- Implement daily lesson plans and instructional activities that support student learning
- Foster critical thinking, problem-solving, and mathematical reasoning skills
- Create and maintain a classroom environment conducive to learning and academic growth
- Utilize effective classroom management strategies to Amergisize student success
- Assess student progress and provide meaningful feedback
- Communicate effectively with students, parents, administrators, and staff
- Collaborate with colleagues and school leadership to support educational goals
- Support the academic, social, and emotional development of students
- Maintain compliance with district, state, and federal educational requirements
Minimum Qualifications
- Valid Missouri Secondary Mathematics Teaching License required
- Bachelor’s Degree or higher required
- Teacher license/certification as applicable by state, district, or contract
- One year of experience as a school teacher preferred
- Willingness and ability to accept direct responsibility for the safety, well-being, and educational progress of students
- Ability to read and implement instructional plans effectively
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to correspond professionally with parents, administrators, and staff
- Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from students, parents, administration, staff members, and the general public
- Ability to work with basic mathematical concepts
- Complies with all relevant professional standards of practice
- Current CPR certification if applicable
- TB questionnaire, PPD, or chest X-ray if applicable
- Current health certificate as required by contract or state regulation
- Must meet all federal, state, and local requirements
- Must be at least 18 years of age
