MATH TEACHER 26-27 

Nazareth Academy has an immediate opening for a full-time Math teacher for the 26-27 school year. This position includes teaching five classes and a supervision assignment. The ability to plan and implement high-quality, engaging, and rigorous learning experiences is a priority, as is collaboration with other teachers within the department and adherence to all department policies. Nazareth is committed to educating the whole student; therefore, building positive relationships with students and cultivating a safe and encouraging learning environment is essential. 

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor of Arts degree (Master's preferred)
  • Valid Professional Educator License
  • Mathematics endorsement or its equivalent
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills 

Preferred Experience:

  • Teaching or student teaching at the high school level
  • Ability to teach core high school math classes including those at the junior and senior levels
  • Familiarity with 1:1 iPad use in the classroom 
  • Familiarity with Google Classroom
  • Commitment to student success
  • Ability to fully engage students in a block schedule
  • Interest in coaching OR moderating student clubs/activities
