Behavioral Health Technician (BHT) - Applied Behavior Analysis

We are looking for Applied Behavior Analysis to serve our local areas who is passionate about helping youth (ages 5-17) and their families build the practical skills they need to thrive. From teaching daily life skills to supporting DCS reunification efforts, your work will directly impact families right here in our community.

Your Mission for Success
You will work 1:1 with youth and caregivers to create lasting change through:
  • Life Skills Training: Using the Ansell Casey Assessment to identify needs and teaching everything from social skills to daily independence.
  • Community Impact: Planning therapeutic activities, sports, and recreational outings in local parks and venues that make learning "hands-on."
  • Reunification Support: Collaborating with DCS to help families stay together and build a stable future.
  • Goal Tracking: Developing individualized treatment plans and maintaining high-quality documentation to celebrate every milestone.
The Schedule & Environment
  • Flexible & Active: Monday - Saturday, with hours varying based on client needs.
  • Year-Round Engagement: Impact continues through summer and school breaks.
  • On the Move: This is a community-based role involving travel throughout the valley, frequent movement, transport, and both indoor and outdoor activities.
What You'll Need to Join Us
Experience: 1+ year in youth-focused behavioral health.
Education: High School Diploma required (Bachelor's in a related field preferred).
Mobility: Must be 21+ with a valid Driver's License and an insured personal vehicle (meeting $100K/$300K coverage requirements) to transport youth.
Clearances: Fingerprint Clearance Card, CPR/First Aid, and a negative TB test.
Tech Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
Compensation & Rewards
We value the specialized skills you bring to our families.
  • Initial Salary (First 60 Days): $38,000 - $42,000.
  • Incentivized Growth: After probation, you'll transition to a Base Salary + Pay-Per-Unit model.
Units per Month Additional Pay per Unit
0-50 Base Pay Only
51-100 + $7.50/unit
101-125 + $7.75/unit
126-150 + $8.00/unit
151+ + $8.50/unit
Note: 100 units = approx. 25 hours/week of face-to-face client time. Units may also be earned through care coordination and other approved tasks.
  • Travel Support: Mileage reimbursement is provided for your work across the service area.
