Job description

Kawasaki Motors Manufacturing Corp., U.S.A seeks a full-time Logistics and Compliance Analyst at our Consumer Products manufacturing facility in Lincoln, NE. Apply now at KawasakiCareers.com.

 Responsibilities of Logistics & Compliance Analyst can include:

  • Execution of the company’s import and export compliance programs, including:
    • Tariff classification of product for both import and export purposes
    • Support and maintain Foreign Trade Zone (FTZ) operation and compliance program
    • Prepare and compile reports for submission to various federal agencies
    • Conduct internal audits to ensure that the company is in compliance with local, state, federal, and international regulations
    • Support of the company’s CTPAT program; including overall supply chain risk analysis
    • Analysis of parts and finished goods for free trade agreement eligibility (USMCA, etc.)
    • Analyze requirements, procedures and problems to identify improvement opportunities
    • Communicate with all levels of the organization, freight companies, customs brokers, government agencies, and suppliers to maintain a reliable supply chain
    • Review and analyze trends and anomalies that can be used to identify supply chain improvements and communicate information to appropriate individuals and entities, both internal and external
    • Plan and/or conduct projects related to cost or compliance improvements
    • Assist other departments with shipping or receiving transactions

 Qualifications for Logistics & Compliance Analyst:

  • 1-2 years of experience in logistics, international logistics, and/or supply chain operations
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Finance or equivalent experience in transportation, supply chain, and/or import/export operations
  • Ability to display appropriate proficiency with computers and computer applications
  • Familiarity with CTPAT or Foreign Trade Zones is preferred
