What You'll Do
  • Design user-friendly digital experiences across web, mobile, ecommerce, customer portals, and other digital touchpoints.
  • Create user flows, journey maps, wireframes, prototypes, design specs, and high-fidelity UI designs.
  • Improve ecommerce experiences including product detail pages, package selection, configurators, lead forms, cart, checkout, promotions, account management, and post-purchase support.
  • Partner with Ecommerce, Product, Marketing, Analytics, and Engineering teams to identify user pain points and improve digital performance.
  • Support conversion rate optimization through UX recommendations, A/B testing concepts, usability insights, and data-informed design decisions.
  • Design polished, brand-aligned interfaces with strong attention to typography, layout, hierarchy, color, spacing, accessibility, and responsive behavior.
  • Contribute to CPI's design system, including reusable components, UI patterns, Figma libraries, documentation, accessibility guidelines, and design standards.
  • Conduct or support UX research, usability testing, competitive reviews, heuristic evaluations, stakeholder interviews, and analytics reviews.
  • Collaborate with Engineering to ensure designs are feasible, clearly documented, and implemented with quality.
  • Advocate for user-centered design, accessibility, usability, and digital experience best practices.
What We're Looking For
  • 4+ years of experience in UX design, product design, digital design, ecommerce UX, or a related digital experience role.
  • Strong portfolio showing end-to-end UX/UI design work across responsive web, mobile, ecommerce, or customer self-service experiences.
  • Experience designing ecommerce or conversion-focused experiences such as product pages, package selection flows, lead forms, cart, checkout, promotions, and account experiences.
  • Strong UI design skills, including typography, layout, visual hierarchy, color, interaction states, responsive design, and accessibility.
  • Hands-on proficiency with Figma, including components, variants, auto layout, prototyping, libraries, and design system workflows.
  • Experience creating wireframes, prototypes, user flows, journey maps, mockups, design specs, and high-fidelity interface designs.
  • Ability to use user insights, analytics, heatmaps, funnel data, and A/B testing results to guide design decisions.
  • Knowledge of accessibility best practices and WCAG guidelines.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills with the ability to connect design decisions to user needs and business outcomes.
Preferred Experience
  • Bachelor's degree in UX Design, Human-Computer Interaction, Graphic Design, Interaction Design, Digital Design, or a related field.
  • Experience with subscription-based, service-based, home services, smart home, security, telecom, or direct-to-consumer ecommerce businesses.
  • Experience with ecommerce platforms such as Shopify, Salesforce Commerce Cloud, Adobe Commerce/Magento, BigCommerce, or similar.
  • Experience with tools such as Google Analytics, Adobe Analytics, Hotjar, FullStory, Optimizely, VWO, Storybook, design tokens, WordPress, Divi, HTML, or CSS.
  • Experience designing mobile app experiences for iOS and Android.
