Job description

H2 Outdoor Living, a luxury pool and outdoor living design firm, is seeking a detail-oriented drafter/designer to join our team. This role covers the full design lifecycle — from initial concept through permitting, construction documents, plumbing plans, and equipment specifications.

Responsibilities

  • Produce concept designs in AutoCAD LT (2D)
  • Build 3D models in SketchUp and render in Lumion
  • Develop construction documents, plumbing plans, and equipment specs
  • Support permitting processes
  • Assist with basic clerical tasks — job lists, organization, and job management
  • Capture job site photos/documentation (drone experience a plus)
  • Attend in-office meetings as needed; balance of office, remote, and on-site work

Requirements

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in AutoCAD 2D drafting
  • Proficiency with SketchUp and Lumion (or comparable 3D rendering software)
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently in a hybrid environment

Preferred

  • Knowledge of pool construction and/or plumbing systems
  • Experience with REVIT
  • Experience with drone photography/videography for job site documentation
