Residential Fire Sprinkler Fitter Apprentice
Residential Fire Sprinkler Fitter Apprentices learn pipe-fitting in the fire protection industry and Western States Fire Protection is seeking qualified applicants, who are or will become members of the UA Local Union 669, for this position.
Job Responsibilities
  • Learn to install, repair and maintain all types of residential fire sprinkler systems, including homes, apartments and retro-fits.
  • Travel within the state of Idaho and Wyoming
  • Comply with union collective bargaining agreement
  • Act as customer service representative for single and multi-family division

Job Qualifications
  • A high school diploma or GED is required
  • At least 18 years old
  • Possess a valid driver's license; in accordance with Company Policy
  • Mechanically inclined is preferred
  • Able to lift up to at least 50 pounds, with or without reasonable accommodation
  • Willing to climb ladders
  • Willing to work in a fast-paced construction environment
  • Willing to pass a post-offer drug test, background and reference check; if applicable

Physical Requirements
  • Ability to lift up to 50lbs with or without reasonable accommodation
  • Regular bending, reaching, climbing and walking
