Job Description

Tanager Bank is seeking a detail-oriented and organized Loan Processor to join our lending team. This position is responsible for reviewing loan applications, collecting required documentation, and ensuring loan files are complete, accurate, and compliant with applicable regulations.

The ideal candidate possesses strong communication skills, exceptional attention to detail, and at least three years of banking experience, ideally with Fiserv Premiere and LaserPro experience.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Review loan applications and supporting documentation for accuracy and completeness.
  • Work directly with borrowers to collect required documentation, including income verification, insurance information, and other supporting materials.
  • Ensure all regulatory requirements and disclosures are completed accurately and timely.
  • Monitor loan files throughout the approval, appraisal, and closing process to ensure deadlines are met.
  • Communicate with loan officers, borrowers, and third-party vendors to resolve documentation issues and obtain missing information.
  • Maintain accurate loan records and update loan processing systems as needed.
  • Stay current on lending policies, procedures, and compliance requirements.
  • Provide exceptional customer service throughout the loan process.


Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Associate degree in Business, Finance, or a related field preferred.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • 3+ years in banking.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
  • Basic proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Flexible and adaptable to changing priorities and business needs.
Experience
  • 3+ years of experience in loan processing, banking, customer service, administrative support, or a related field preferred.
