Job Summary and Responsibilities

As our Expediter, you will help with a wide variety of non-skilled facility-related maintenance and repairs, such as minor plumbing repairs, pressure washing, painting, light bulb replacements, and similar tasks. Every day you will assist with tenant or departmental moves.
To be successful in this role, you will drive a Franciscan Health System vehicle to various sites for parts pick-up and to transport equipment between sites.

  • Maintains areas of responsibility in a clean and orderly manner, performing minor interior repairs including, but not limited to, ceiling tile replacements, repair of wall penetrations, and other tasks of similar scope.
  • Performs minor maintenance repairs and installations using hand and power tools, including, but not limited to, plumbing maintenance such as faucet/toilet parts replacement and trap removal and electrical maintenance such as light bulb replacement.
  • Assists in any tenant or departmental relocation of equipment; removal of waste or other items may be required; may transport equipment between FHS facilities.
  • Performs exterior building maintenance to include, but not limited to, litter pick-up, pressure washing, and exterior painting.
