The Ohio Art Company is seeking a motivated and experienced Production Supervisor to lead our Lithography Department. This is an exciting opportunity for a proven manufacturing leader who enjoys developing people, improving processes, and delivering results in a fast-paced production environment.
As a Production Supervisor, you'll play a key role in ensuring our team operates safely, efficiently, and with a commitment to producing high-quality products. While experience in lithography, printing, or metal decorating is beneficial, we value strong leadership and manufacturing experience above all else. We can teach our processes- we're looking for someone who can lead people.
What You'll Do
  • Lead and support a team of production employees by providing coaching, direction, and accountability.
  • Foster a positive workplace culture centered on teamwork, safety, quality, and continuous improvement.
  • Monitor daily production activities to ensure safety, productivity, and quality expectations are achieved.
  • Coordinate staffing and production schedules to meet customer and business demands.
  • Verify production readiness and approve manufacturing runs.
  • Identify and resolve production issues while minimizing downtime.
  • Partner with Maintenance to ensure equipment reliability and timely repairs.
  • Train, mentor, and develop employees to build a highly skilled workforce.
  • Conduct performance coaching, attendance discussions, and disciplinary actions when necessary.
  • Maintain accurate production documentation and shift reports.
  • Support ISO 9001 quality standards and company operational excellence initiatives.
  • Drive continuous improvement efforts that enhance safety, efficiency, quality, and cost performance.
  • Collaborate with other departments to achieve company objectives.

  • Bachelor's degree preferred, or equivalent manufacturing leadership experience
  • 3-5 years of manufacturing supervisory experience preferred
  • Experience with employee coaching, performance management, and conflict resolution
  • Ability to spend extended periods walking, standing, and working on the production floor
  • Willingness to occasionally work additional hours or weekends as production needs require
