We are currently looking for a full-time LIHTC/Affordable Property Manager to manage a property.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Operates the property within the financial guidelines of the property budget.
  • Directs and evaluates the job performance of the property staff. Is responsible for staff training and must ensure all staff operate within the established policies and procedures.
  • Maintains occupancy at established levels by completing marketing plans, advertising, and ensuring the established sales techniques are used effectively by leasing staff.
  • Designs, implements, and maintains resident retention programs, including newsletters, recognition, and social activities.
  • Review delinquent accounts and take the required collection action.
  • Monitors the preventative maintenance calendar and reviews the status of all work orders.
  • Responsible for preparing and adhering to the property budget.
  • Reviews all monthly financial reports.

Education and Experience:

Bachelor's degree in business preferred or related experience in Property Management. This position requires 5 years of experience as an on-site Low-Income Housing Tax Credit (LIHTC) Property Manager or Assistant Property Manager with LIHTC/Affordable property experience. Fair Housing certification is needed before interaction with residents. Must be knowledgeable of financial reporting.
