Job Overview


Liberty 1 Lending is looking for a proactive and results-driven Recruiter to become a part of our team. The suitable candidate will oversee the complete recruitment process, from identifying candidates to assisting with onboarding new hires. This role requires a strong understanding of various recruiting techniques, excellent communication skills, and the ability to build rapport with candidates and hiring leaders. The Recruiter will play a crucial role in aligning talent acquisition strategies with the objectives of the organization.

Responsibilities

  • Manage the end-to-end recruitment process including sourcing, interviewing, and onboarding candidates
  • Build and maintain a strong pipeline of candidates through job boards, networking, referrals, social media, and industry events
  • Partner with leadership to understand market needs, growth plans, and talent gaps
  • Engage in cold calling and lead generation to identify potential candidates
  • Maintain precise records of candidate interactions and progress within the Applicant Tracking system ADP
  • Ensure adherence to employment and labor laws throughout the recruitment process
  • Foster relationships with internal stakeholders to support succession planning and talent management initiatives

Qualifications

  • A minimum of 1 year of experience within the mortgage industry
  • Strong negotiation skills with the ability to influence hiring decisions effectively
  • Highly driven, persuasive, and self-motivated with excellent communication skills
  • Familiarity with HR sourcing techniques and employee relations practices
  • Ability to conduct research on industry trends to enhance recruitment strategies
  • Experience in managing social media for employer branding purposes is an advantage
  • Ability to work independently while managing priorities and meeting goals
