Responsibilities
Role Overview
As an Assistant Nurse Operations Manager (ANOM) in our Level II NICU, you'll play a critical leadership role, working alongside the Nursing Operations Manager to:
  • Oversee 24/7 operations, ensuring smooth patient flow and exceptional care for our tiniest patients.
  • Lead recruitment, staff scheduling, and performance evaluations.
  • Promote quality improvement initiatives to maintain high standards of care and safety.
  • Serve as a role model, mentor, and advocate for nursing excellence and professional development.
  • Collaborate with HR, physicians, and multidisciplinary teams to enhance patient outcomes and staff engagement.

Qualifications
What You Bring to the Table
Education:
  • Required: Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)
  • Preferred: Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) or a related graduate degree

Licensure/Certifications:
  • Active RN license in Florida or Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC)
  • Basic Life Support (BLS)
  • Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification (or ability to obtain)

Experience:
  • Minimum of 2 years' RN experience in an acute care setting, preferably in a Neonatal Intensive Care Unit.
