About the Role:
The IT Analyst at Plum Market Food Service – Eppley Airfield is responsible for supporting the organization's technology infrastructure through Point of Sale (POS) system administration, hardware and software support, user account management, and technical troubleshooting. This role focuses heavily on maintaining accurate POS data, providing first-level technical support, and ensuring team members have the technology resources needed to support daily operations. The ideal candidate is analytical, detail-oriented, and committed to delivering exceptional guest service while maintaining reliable technology systems in a fast-paced airport environment.

What you will do:

  • Maintain and manage data within Point of Sale (Toast) systems, including item maintenance and updates.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact with Toast Support to troubleshoot issues and coordinate resolutions.
  • Set up and configure workstations, computers, monitors, printers, and other peripheral devices.
  • Configure company-issued mobile devices and provide ongoing troubleshooting and support.
  • Install, configure, and maintain software applications.
  • Create, maintain, and manage user accounts and permissions within Microsoft Office 365.
  • Configure, organize, and maintain SharePoint sites to support operational needs.
  • Assist with basic network troubleshooting and connectivity issues.
  • Maintain accurate records of technology assets, repairs, replacements, and system changes.
  • Utilize the company's internal ticketing system to track and resolve technical support requests.
  • Diagnose and resolve routine hardware, software, and system issues in a timely manner.
  • Collaborate with the corporate IT support team and other departments to ensure consistent technology support across locations.
  • Recommend process improvements and identify opportunities to increase efficiency through technology.

What you will bring:

  • 2–3 years of experience in Information Technology, Help Desk Support, or a related technical role.
  • Experience working with Point of Sale systems, preferably Toast.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Windows operating systems and Microsoft Office applications.
  • Experience administering Microsoft Office 365 user accounts and permissions.
  • Familiarity with SharePoint administration and collaboration tools.
  • Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent organizational skills with strong attention to detail and data accuracy.
  • Ability to efficiently manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a customer-service mindset.
