This position requires hands-on industrial maintenance experience within a manufacturing or production environment.
Job Summary:
Bring your industrial maintenance leadership skills to a high-volume industrial manufacturing environment where equipment reliability, team performance, and continuous improvement directly support production success. As Assistant Plant Services Manager at Achilles USA, you'll help lead the maintenance team that keeps critical manufacturing systems running safely and efficiently.
Requirements
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
  • Review, prioritize, and schedule maintenance work to support continuous manufacturing operations.
  • Coordinate maintenance, fabrication, and equipment modification activities that support new products, improve existing products, and keep operations running efficiently.
  • Direct maintenance of utility systems to ensure reliable heat, steam, electric power, gas, and air for operations.
  • Partner with production, engineering, quality control, and management to resolve maintenance issues and improve equipment reliability, performance, and operating conditions.
  • Review production, quality control, and maintenance reports to plan and adjust maintenance activities.
  • Develop and implement methods and procedures that improve operations, reduce costs, and make better use of labor and materials.
  • Review new product plans and equipment needs with design engineers.
  • Requisition tools, equipment, and supplies required for operations.
  • Train and develop team members to improve performance and ensure understanding of company policies and procedures.
  • Prepare and monitor the departmental budget as needed.
  • Support CAPEX projects.
  • Build an engaged, cohesive team focused on department and company goals, KPIs, equipment uptime, preventive and predictive maintenance, organized tools and equipment, and rapid response to equipment failures.

Requirements:
Education/Training:?High School Diploma or GED, bachelor's degree preferred.
Experience:
5 years of experience leading or supervising industrial maintenance operations in a manufacturing or production environment, with an emphasis on mechanical systems and risk management training.
Skills/Aptitude:?Mechanical ability, team building, math aptitude, and ability to troubleshoot problems. Effective written and oral communication skills. Excellent interpersonal skills. Ability to motivate, train, and educate. Ability to build successful regulatory agency relationships.
Working Conditions:?Factory environment, airborne particles, machinery noise and occasional lifting up to 75 lbs.
Must be able to pass preemployment drug screen and background check
Onsite in Everett, Washington, Day Shift.

Salary Description
75,000-105,000
