2. CoSS – Residential Project (Anjou)

Location: Anjou, Montreal, QC
Project Type: Residential development
Employment Type: Contract / Full-time

Overview

Our client is looking for a proactive and hands-on CoSS to manage health and safety operations for a residential construction project in Anjou. The ideal candidate thrives in fast-paced environments and is committed to fostering a strong safety culture on site.

Key Responsibilities
  • Ensure compliance with all CNESST regulations and safety protocols
  • Monitor daily site activities and enforce safe work practices
  • Identify potential hazards and implement preventative measures
  • Lead site orientations and ongoing safety training for workers and subcontractors
  • Conduct incident investigations and follow up on corrective actions
  • Collaborate closely with project managers and site teams
  • Maintain accurate records, reports, and compliance documentation
Requirements
  • Valid CNESST CoSS accreditation (mandatory)
  • 3+ years of experience in construction health & safety
  • Residential project experience strongly preferred
  • Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to influence and promote a safety-first mindset across teams
