Toyota Industries Electric Systems North America (TIESNA) is expanding with the launch of our newest manufacturing facility in Pendergrass, Georgia. As a subsidiary of Toyota Industries Corporation (TICO), a global leader in automotive components, material handling equipment, and logistics solutions, TIESNA is committed to delivering world-class quality products to North American automotive manufacturers.
Our Georgia facility will manufacture DC-AC Inverters and future DC-DC Converters for electric and hybrid vehicles, supporting the rapidly growing automotive electrification industry.

Position Summary
The Production Control Specialist plays a critical role in supporting daily manufacturing operations by ensuring materials, production schedules, and customer requirements are aligned to meet business objectives. This position requires strong organizational, analytical, and communication skills while working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
What You'll Do
  • Develop and maintain mid-term and weekly production schedules
  • Plan, order, and manage production materials and inventory
  • Coordinate customer orders, shipments, and logistics activities
  • Process and maintain data within AS400 and other planning systems
  • Monitor inventory levels and proactively identify shortages or excess materials
  • Analyze production demand and forecast material requirements
  • Support purchasing activities as needed
  • Manage EDI transactions, customer logistics, and packaging requirements
  • Communicate directly with customers, suppliers, and transportation carriers regarding orders and shipments
  • Monitor customer delivery performance and implement improvements
  • Identify production risks and recommend corrective actions
  • Assist with continuous improvement initiatives throughout the Production Control function
  • Perform other duties as assigned

What We're Looking For
Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Materials Management, Operations, Business, or a related field, or equivalent related experience
  • Two or more years of experience in production control, materials planning, supply chain, purchasing, or manufacturing operations
  • Experience using Microsoft Excel and MRP/ERP systems (AS400 experience preferred)
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a deadline-driven environment
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented manufacturing environment

Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience working within a global manufacturing organization
  • Experience collaborating across diverse cultures, particularly within a Japanese business environment
  • Japanese language skills are a plus
