Job description

Peak Workforce Solutions (Newbold) is seeking a Janitorial Manager for our client in Tulsa, OK who is a creative, energetic individual with a "Whatever It Takes" attitude in fulfilling their job duties.

The Janitorial Account Manager is responsible for overseeing all cleaning and maintenance operations within a shopping mall environment. This role ensures high standards of cleanliness, safety, and customer satisfaction while managing janitorial staff, vendor relationships, and client expectations.
 

Compensation and Benefits:

Salary: $56,000 per year

Management
    • Oversee daily janitorial operations including interior and exterior cleaning, restrooms, food court areas, and common spaces
    • Ensure compliance with cleaning schedules and quality standards
    • Conduct regular inspections to maintain a clean, safe mall environment
Staff Supervision
    • Recruit, train, schedule, and supervise janitorial team members
    • Monitor performance and provide coaching, feedback, and disciplinary actions when needed
    • Ensure proper staffing levels for peak and off-peak hours
Client Relations
    • Serve as the primary point of contact for mall management and tenants
    • Address concerns, complaints, and service requests in a timely and professional manner
    • Maintain strong relationships to ensure customer satisfaction
Quality Control
    • Implement and maintain cleaning standards and procedures
    • Perform routine audits and inspections
    • Ensure use of proper cleaning methods, equipment, and chemicals
Safety & Compliance
    • Ensure all staff follow OSHA and company safety policies
    • Maintain proper documentation for safety, incidents, and compliance
    • Conduct safety training and enforce safe work practices
Budget & Inventory Management
    • Manage labor costs, supplies, and equipment budgets
    • Order and maintain inventory of cleaning products and equipment
    • Identify cost-saving opportunities while maintaining quality
Equipment Management
    • Coordinate with external vendors for specialized cleaning or maintenance services
    • Ensure equipment is maintained, repaired, or replaced as needed
