A Full Time ISO 17025 position typically refers to a role where an individual works full-time to ensure that a laboratory's operations comply with the ISO/IEC 17025 standard. ISO 17025 is an international standard that outlines the general requirements for the competence of testing and calibration laboratories. Employees in these positions are responsible for maintaining quality management systems, preparing for audits, and ensuring accurate and reliable laboratory results. These roles are essential for labs that need accreditation or ongoing compliance with international quality and technical standards.

What are the key skills and qualifications needed to thrive as a full time ISO 17025 professional?

To excel as a full-time ISO 17025 professional, you need a solid background in laboratory science or quality management, usually supported by relevant degrees and experience in laboratory environments. Familiarity with ISO 17025 standards, proficiency in laboratory information management systems (LIMS), and sometimes auditor certifications are commonly required.
