Job description

Lovely family seeks a proactive, and engaging Housekeeper to provide full-service cleaning for their large residence. This position is a full time 40 hours a weekย with flexibility for additional hours as needed.ย  The ideal candidate will have experience working in a fully staffed home and have excellent time management and communication skills.

Responsibilities

Detailed daily cleaning and organizing of interior rooms including outdoor areas, light fixtures, polishing, care of fine furnishings, laundry, ironing of household linens and clothing, making beds and changing linens, household projects, monthly deep cleaning, assist chef with dinner service and meal preparation, nightly turndown.

Maintaining tidy and orderly closets throughout residence; helping with packing and unpacking for travel

Management and organization of all closets, pantries, and storage areas

Additional Housekeeper responsibilities and duties as needed and requested by the principals

Requirements

This position is not looking to relocate,ย the candidate should already be local living in the Tri-state area.

Strong command of English language; outstanding communication skills both written and verbal. Spanish speaking is a plus.

Excellent references required from both current and previous employers.

Minimum 5 โ€“ 7+ years of experience working in a private home.

Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.

Exceptional organizational skills and dedication to responsibilities; willing and able to take direction well.

Polished, poised, and professional in both mindset and manner; use of utmost discretion and confidentiality always.

Must be comfortable working in a home with pets; the family has 4 dogs.

Legally able to work in the United States.
