About Salcito Design Group

Salcito Design Group is a premier full-service interior design firm specializing in high-end residential design for luxury custom homes. Working in seamless collaboration with Salcito Custom Homes, our team creates exceptional, timeless interiors that blend sophisticated transitional and traditional aesthetics with refined texture, thoughtful curation, and a touch of glamour. We partner closely with clients, architects, and construction teams from concept through final installation on projects throughout the Valley and beyond.

Primary Function

The Residential Interior Designer is responsible for developing and executing exceptional interior design solutions for luxury custom homes. This role supports the full design process—from initial concept and space planning through construction documentation, FF&E specification, purchasing, and final installation—while delivering a high-touch client experience and maintaining the elevated aesthetic standards of Salcito Design Group.

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate with clients, the design team, architects, and construction teams to develop and refine design concepts that align with client vision, project goals, and the firm’s signature aesthetic.

• Create comprehensive design presentations, including mood boards, material boards, space plans, furniture layouts, elevations, and 3D visualizations.

• Produce accurate construction documentation and specifications using AutoCAD, Revit, and related tools.

• Develop detailed FF&E packages (furniture, fixtures, equipment, window treatments, art, and accessories), including product research, sourcing, pricing, and specifications.

• Manage project documentation and workflows in Fohlio and other project management platforms.

• Coordinate with vendors, fabricators, and installers to ensure quality, timelines, and design intent are met.

• Participate in client meetings, site visits, and installation oversight from concept through final styling.

• Maintain clear communication and strong organization across multiple concurrent luxury projects.

• Support the creative direction of the Principal Designer while bringing precision, creativity, and professionalism to every phase of the work.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in high-end residential interior design (luxury custom homes preferred).

• Strong portfolio demonstrating exceptional space planning, material selection, and finished interiors.

• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, Enscape, Adobe Creative Suite, and rendering tools.

• Experience with AI-assisted design tools and Fohlio (or similar FF&E/project management software).

• Excellent eye for detail, proportion, texture, and timeless design.

• Strong communication, client service, and collaboration skills.

• Ability to manage multiple projects, meet deadlines, and work effectively with construction and design teams.

• Highly organized, self-motivated, and professional.

Education & Experience Preferences

• Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design, Interior Architecture, or a closely related field strongly preferred.

• 3+ years of professional experience in residential interior design (luxury or high-end residential experience highly preferred).

• Equivalent combination of education and relevant experience will be considered.

Benefits

• 401(k)

• Health Insurance

• Short-Term and Long-Term Disability

• Health Savings Account (HSA)

• Opportunity to work on exceptional luxury custom home projects in one of the most desirable design markets in the country
