Full Time LPN or RN Staff Nurse

Cleveland County Detention Center | Shelby, NC
Night Shift | 6:00 PM to 6:30 AM

Southern Health Partners is seeking a compassionate Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or Registered Nurse (RN) to join our overnight healthcare team at the Cleveland County Detention Center.

This role offers the opportunity to provide meaningful patient care in a structured environment where you'll practice with confidence, build strong assessment skills, and work alongside a supportive healthcare team. Whether you're an experienced correctional nurse or looking to explore a rewarding new specialty, we'd love to meet you.

What You'll Do

As part of our medical team, you will:

Provide direct patient care, nursing assessments, and medication administration
Respond to urgent medical concerns and evaluate patients during sick call
Monitor patients with chronic illnesses and changing medical conditions
Maintain accurate and timely electronic medical documentation
Collaborate with fellow healthcare professionals and correctional staff to deliver safe, effective care
Follow established clinical protocols while helping maintain a safe, secure healthcare environment

Qualifications

Required

Active North Carolina LPN or RN license
