Brown & Brownisseekingan Insurance Marketing Specialist to join our growing team inMilwaukee, WI.

In this role, you will support the design, marketing, and placement of commercial insurance programs by partnering with internal teams and insurance carriers. You will play a key role in developing competitive program strategies, negotiating with underwriters, and delivering optimal coverage solutions that align with client needs.

How You Will Contribute:

  • Develop a strong understanding of client businesses, industries, and risk profiles to support insurance placement strategies
  • Prepare and manage marketing submissions, including specifications, timelines, and carrier selection
  • Market accounts to insurance carriers and negotiate pricing, terms, and coverage options
  • Analyze and compare insurance program structures to support proposal development
  • Collaborate closely with account teams and producers to align marketing strategies with client goals
  • Monitor the placement process, ensuring timely binders, accurate policies, and proper documentation
  • Support renewal marketing efforts and remarket accounts as needed
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with underwriters and carrier partners
  • Stay informed on market trends, carrier appetite, and emerging coverage solutions
  • Respond promptly to internal and external inquiries regarding coverage, pricing, and market conditions
  • Identify opportunities to enhance program structure or improve coverage based on market insights

Licenses & Certifications:

  • 3-5+ years of experience in commercial insurance, marketing, or underwriting
  • Active Property & Casualty license (or ability to obtain)
  • Industry Designations (e.g., CIC, CPCU, ARM) are a plus

Skills & Experience to be Successful:

  • Strong knowledge of insurance products, coverages, and carrier markets
  • Proven ability to market and position accounts with underwriters
  • Excellent negotiation, communication, and relationship-building skills
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Team-oriented mindset with a proactive approach to problem-solving
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and insurance platforms
