Responsibilities

Are you passionate about turning complex data into compelling stories? Do you thrive on creating impactful dashboards and unique applications that drive strategic decisions in Property & Casualty (P&C) Claims? Join Claims-Advanced Analytics as a Data Analyst with a focus on visualization & dashboard creation, where your expertise will shape the future of claims analytics and deliver high-impact insights to claims leadership!

  • Lead and Consult: Spearhead high-impact, strategic projects focused on P&C Claims data visualization and dashboard creation. Solve complex technical challenges and influence business outcomes.
  • Trusted Advisor: Act as a primary resource and advisor to senior management and leadership, translating complex data and analytics into actionable business insights.
  • Analytical Expertise: Leverage advanced analytical tools and techniques to design, develop, and optimize dashboards that inform critical claims strategies and operational decisions.
  • Visionary Leadership: Define and communicate the vision and technical direction for software development, data integration, and ongoing support of visualization initiatives. Stay ahead of emerging trends and identify new opportunities to enhance analytics capabilities.
  • Project Management: Own all phases of project management — from planning to execution — ensuring seamless delivery and strong client relationships across cross-functional teams.
  • Autonomous Influence: Operate with a high degree of autonomy and influence, proactively providing guidance and driving innovation in analytics and dashboard solutions.
  • Business Partnership: Work directly with business partners to provide P&C Claims data that supports claim handling decisions, process improvements, and strategic shifts in claim handling practices.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with Data Scientists and analytic professionals to consult on or contribute to machine learning initiatives and the creation of large datasets that enable data- and technology-driven process enhancements.
  • Data Mining & Programming: Utilize programming languages such as SQL and Python to extract and manipulate data from complex systems, delivering consumable outputs aligned with business requirements.
  • Requirement Refinement: Navigate ambiguous business requirements by applying judgment, business understanding, research, and peer collaboration to refine needs and deliver optimal results.
  • Time & Task Management: Effectively manage multiple priorities and deadlines in both agile and traditional environments, working independently with minimal oversight.

This is a hybrid position which allows you to spend some of your time working from home as well as some time working collaboratively in-office. During the job training period you may have a higher percentage of time spent in-office to support your learning experience.

Qualifications

Proven leadership in delivering complex data visualization and dashboard projects, preferably in the P&C insurance or claims domain.
