Job description

ADP is hiring a Director, Data Analytics for the HR Outsourcing (HRO) Analytics organization. We're looking for an experienced leader in business intelligence, visualizations, and data storytelling through actionable insights to lead a team that will enable data-driven decision making. This role is accountable for supporting leaders to make more data driven decisions, and implementing and managing business intelligence visualizations, standards, and insights presentations. This is a highly collaborative position that works closely with senior leaders and key stakeholders. The Director, Data Analytics will report to the Head of Business Intelligence.
WHAT YOU'LL DO: Responsibilities
  • Lead team of BI analysts and managers to build a trusted, strategic, and business-focused practice
  • Build relationships with key stakeholders/leaders and navigate cross-functionally to collaboratively deliver on priorities
  • Adhere to newly formed BI standards of excellence to help establish the trusted HRO Analytics brand

TO SUCCEED IN THIS ROLE: Qualifications
  • We support a hybrid flexible work arrangement; 3 days in the office and 2 days at home
  • 8+ years' experience in Business Intelligence/Analytics people leadership
  • Demonstrated ability to motivate teams towards high levels excellence and standards
  • Strong expertise with business strategy and supporting organizations making data-driven decisions
  • Proven ability to influence and partner at the senior executive level
  • Advanced skills in data visualizations, clear data storytelling, and creating actionable and meaningful insights from data
  • Advanced proficiency in MS PowerPoint to create compelling presentations with insights
  • Possess excellent written communication, analytical and story-telling skills with ability to present complex concepts simply and clearly to management, team members, and non-technical audiences using PowerPoint, Tableau, Power BI, and Excel (Advanced Proficiency)
  • Excellent interpersonal and two-way communication skills
  • Business first mindset
  • Coach and develop junior team members
  • Feel very comfortable operating in ambiguity and navigating uncertainty
  • Proactive self-starter who can hit the ground running immediately with little to go by

  • A college degree is nice to have but not required. What's more important is having the skills to do the job. Other forms of acceptable experience include:
  • Consulting experience from MBB/Big4 or Fortune 500 experience
