Doctor's Hospital of Laredo and Laredo Physicians Group are actively recruiting a skilled Pathologist to join our established, high-volume medical center in Laredo, Texas. Quick Facts Employment Type: Full-time, hospital-employed physician position Schedule / Hours: Standard hospital pathology schedule Call: As required for pathology coverage Patient Volume: High-volume acute care facility with growing demand for diagnostic pathology services Location: Laredo, Texas (America's largest inland port city) Practice Setting: Established pathology department at a 183-bed acute care facility with state-of-the-art pathology laboratory Support / Care Team: Collaborative pathology group with expanding team, laboratory technologists, and support staff

 EMR / Technology: Cerner EMR with advanced clinical and anatomic pathology laboratory equipment

Responsibilities Provide comprehensive anatomic and clinical pathology services to a diverse patient population Collaborate with the pathology group, clinicians, and laboratory staff to ensure high-quality diagnostic services Participate in diagnostic evaluations, reporting, and quality assurance activities Document findings and maintain accurate records within the hospital's EMR system

Qualifications Board Certified or Board Eligible in Anatomic Pathology and Clinical Pathology Active Texas medical license or eligibility to obtain Texas licensure Spanish language skills beneficial but not required
