Responsibilities

Northside Hospital Cherokee is seeking a  fellowship-trained, board-certified Infectious Disease Physician to join a growing and collaborative clinical team in Metro Atlanta. This position offers a balanced inpatient consultative and outpatient clinic schedule within a nationally recognized, debt-free health system known for clinical excellence and physician support.

Position Highlights

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide comprehensive infectious disease consultation for hospitalized patients

  • Manage and treat patients in an outpatient infectious disease clinic setting

  • Collaborate with medical and surgical specialists across the hospital

  • Participate in infection prevention, antimicrobial stewardship, and quality initiatives

  • Maintain high standards of clinical excellence and patient-centered care

  • Comfortable building outpatient clinic volume
Qualifications
  • MD or DO from an accredited medical school

  • Completion of an ACGME-accredited Infectious Disease fellowship

  • Board Certified in Infectious Disease

  • Eligible for or currently licensed to practice medicine in the State of Georgia

  • Strong communication skills and a team-oriented approach
