Job description

Position Summary

We are seeking a full-time, on-site Systems Administrator / IT Specialist to support day-to-day technology operations for two casino properties in Deadwood, South Dakota. These properties include casino gaming operations, restaurants, hotel/motel operations, administrative offices, security systems, surveillance systems, and multiple vendor-supported platforms.

This position serves as the primary on-site IT contact and works directly with our remote IT provider, property leadership, vendors and technology partners.

This role requires on-site presence at both properties.

Ability to obtain a South Dakota Gaming Key license is required for this position.

Key ResponsibilitiesGeneral IT Support and Systems Administration

The Systems Administrator will be responsible for supporting daily IT operations across both properties, including:

  • Support switches, routers, firewalls, wireless access points, and related infrastructure.
  • Supporting Windows workstations, laptops, printers, scanners, and shared devices.
  • Troubleshooting hardware, software, connectivity, and access-related issues.
  • Supporting Microsoft 365 file access, permissions, and general productivity tools.
  • Maintaining accurate records of users, devices, systems, vendors, and equipment.
  • Coordinating with the remote IT provider on projects, updates, backups, and security.
  • Acting as the on-site technical contact for partners, vendors and remote support.
  • Assisting with troubleshooting gaming system connectivity, workstation access, printer issues, server communication, and peripheral problems.
  • Supporting surveillance workstations, recording systems, cameras, network connectivity, storage systems, and related vendor-supported platforms.
  • Assisting with audits, compliance requests, internal controls, and documentation.
  • Qualifications
  • Experience in IT support, systems admin, network support, or a similar technical role.
  • Working knowledge of networking concepts, including switches, routers, firewalls, IP addressing, Wi-Fi, VPNs, and cabling.
  • Occasional lifting or moving of computers, printers, monitors, and related equipment.
  • Previous experience in a casino or hospitality environments.
  • Experience with Microsoft administration.
  • Certifications such as CompTIA A+, Network+, Security+, Microsoft, Cisco, or similar are helpful but not required.
