Job description

The Cohen Children's Northwell Health Pediatric Service Line and Department of Pediatrics at Zucker School of Medicine at Hofstra/ Northwell Health is seeking a full-time board eligible/board certified Pediatric Hospitalist to lead the Division of Pediatric Hospital Medicine and oversee the Pediatric In-patient Service at Huntington Hospital in Huntington, NY. The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years' experience in Pediatric Hospital Medicine, the ability to oversee the quality improvement activities of the Division, a track record in teaching and supervising residents and the requisite administrative skills. Academic Appointment to Donald and Barbara Zucker School of Medicine at Hofstra/Northwell is commensurate with credentials and experience.

Highlights include:

* Lead role in developing clinical protocols

* Attend administrative and academic meetings

* Responsibilities include patient care, supervision of learners, and QI oversight.

* Participation in clinical research is available.

* Opportunities are available for collaboration with Cohen Children's Medical Center to implement best practices, develop clinical policies and procedures and participate in scholarly activities.
