Job description

A full-time Pharmacist opportunity is available in a hospital pharmacy setting in North Central Arkansas. This role offers the opportunity to support medication therapy through order verification, dispensing, drug information, and clinical interventions.

The position includes 10-hour shifts, rotating weekends, and occasional evening/night shifts, along with a $10,000 sign-on bonus per the applicable sign-on agreement. The organization will consider recent pharmacy graduates, while hospital pharmacy experience is preferred.


Job Responsibilities

  • Review and verify physician medication orders for accuracy and appropriateness.
  • Accurately dispense medications according to established pharmacy procedures.
  • Provide timely and accurate drug information to healthcare personnel.
  • Perform appropriate clinical interventions to optimize patient medication therapy.
  • Work with pharmacy leadership to support department best practices.
  • Use pharmacy computer systems for medication-related and departmental functions.
  • Communicate effectively with physicians, clinical staff, pharmacy colleagues, and other personnel.
  • Prioritize responsibilities and work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Support safe medication preparation and pharmacy operations in a hospital environment.

Minimum Qualifications
