Job Summary: Housekeeper
The Housekeeper is responsible for maintaining cleanliness and order throughout the facility by performing daily housekeeping routines. This role ensures that all areas meet cleanliness standards and are kept safe, following OSHA regulations and facility policies.
Responsibilities:
  • Perform daily housekeeping tasks to maintain to maintain a clean environment throughout the facility
  • Follow OSHA regulations to ensure a safe and risk-preventative environment
  • Maintain compliance with all company policies and procedures
  • Handle cleaning chemicals and equipment in a safe and effective manner
  • Performs other duties as assigned/required by this position.
Skills and Competencies
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to operate mechanical equipment used in housekeeping
  • Customer service skills with a positive attitude
  • Knowledge of cleaning procedures and safety standards
  • Ability to work independently and adhere to standard procedures

Qualifications
Requirements:
  • Education: High School Diploma or equivalent is preferred.
  • Experience: Two (2) years experience in housekeeping duties is preferred, preferably in a health care facility.
  • Additional Requirements: Must be able to work with minimal supervision. May be required to work overtime and flexible hours.
