This role offers the opportunity to work on medium- to high-complexity engineering assignments, applying deep technical expertise while collaborating across disciplines and directly with customers. You will contribute to designs that prioritize safety, quality, and performance, while continuously improving standards, processes, and technologies.

How you'll make an impact
  • Create and analyze customized transformer designs with a strong focus on safety and hazard control.
  • Contribute to design reviews, verification activities, and established QA/QC processes.
  • Optimize designs to meet evolving standards, technologies, and functional requirements.
  • Develop and review engineering drawings, specifications, and manufacturing or construction plans.
  • Use advanced models, simulations, and analytical tools to solve complex technical challenges.
  • Prepare and support technical documentation, proposals, and approval processes.
  • Collaborate with customers to shape design solutions and drive continuous improvement.
  • Work across engineering disciplines to deliver integrated, high-quality outcomes.
  • Responsible to ensure compliance with applicable external and internal regulations, procedures, and guidelines.

Your background
  • Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field with 3+ years of transformer design experience, or
  • Bachelor's degree with 5+ years of transformer design experience, or
  • Associate degree with 8+ years of transformer design experience.
  • Strong technical knowledge of transformer design and related engineering disciplines.
  • Experience using advanced engineering tools, models, or simulations.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with customers and cross-functional teams.
